Cummins C66D5e Powers Rugby Pitch Lights

New Cummins C66D5e Diesel generator and 1000 litre bunded fuel tank was recently commissioned at Co Cork Rugby Club, where it will be used for prime power to their floodlighting.

Prior to delivery, the generator was fitted with a Permanent Magnetic Generator (PMG) kit which supplies isolated power to the automatic voltage regulator (AVR) when the generator shaft rotates. The AVR utilises the extra power when supplying non-linear loads.
