Standby Power installed at The Lodge

Shanahan Power was chosen to install standby power for the Lodge at Hogs Head, an area that is often subject to power outages.

We installed a 660 kVA generator that has a sound attenuated, weatherproof enclosure in a purpose built room to keep noise levels as low as possible, and to protect the generator set against salt air.

The unit was fitted with anti-corrosion protection on the alternator as well as a heater to keep moisture from affecting the windings of the set to help prolong the lifespan of the generator.
